Abstract: The study has utilized the quantitative research method. This study sought to establish the current forms of entrepreneurship education programs offered in South African public secondary schools furthermore, to investigate the current status quo of entrepreneurship education programs in South African public secondary schools. Data was collected from schoolteachers who teach the subjects Life Orientation and Entrepreneurship and Business Management in state secondary schools. An in-depth interview would be conducted to get detailed information on a small topic. One of the main results of this study was the identification of an entrepreneurial mindset as a key outcome of entrepreneurship education programs. This finding has important implications for the overall impact of these programs on students and the future of entrepreneurship in South Africa.
