Biography
Dr Liaan Minnie is a Lecturer in the School of Biology and Environmental Sciences, University of Mpumalanga, and a Research Associate with the Centre for African Conservation Ecology, Nelson Mandela University. My research interests include Terrestrial Ecology with a specific focus on Carnivore Ecology, Human-Wildlife Conflict and Predator-Prey Interactions. He is interested in the top-down and bottom-up mechanisms structuring both carnivore and prey populations and how these processes vary between nature reserves and anthropogenically modified systems such as agricultural and urban areas.
